The application on the right is just a facsimile of the screen for your phone, not the keys that your phone may have. What Else Should I Know?
This application has been designed to send and receive as little data as possible. If you do not have a data plan with your service provider, charges may apply for data transmission. Check with your service provider for details on your account.
When running Empire Mobile on your phone be sure that you have the correct Java Session setting on your phone. Almost all phones are already set up with this setting by your service provider, but there is a chance that it is missing or incorrect. If you can download and run the application, but it does not work, then it could be an issue with the incorrect Java Session settings being active on your phone.
In order to check the Java Session settings on your phone (each phone has these settings in different menu locations) go to Menu -> Web Sessions -> Java Sessions. Some carriers use the same settings for both WAP and HTTP, in that case you may not see a different Java Session setting. Empire Mobile will use the default Web Session for the Java Session setting.
On some phones you may need to make sure that the access point the phone uses is an Internet access point rather than a WAP access point. You can find these at Tools -> Settings -> Connection -> Access points (each phone has these settings in different menu locations).
If you have trouble accessing these settings to verify their values, contact your service provider and have them set your settings for java applications that access the Internet. You can also try one of the following links below, which will ask you a few questions, and then text and configure the settings to your phone specifically for your service provider.

Sensitive data encryption takes care of this and it works through a combination of programs and encryption/decryption routines that exist on the server computer, and in your handset. Unique private keys are determined for each user and are used to decrypt the information to complete the transaction, much the same way a browser does when visiting a secure website like your own banking institution.
